Family Advancement Ministries (FAM) Is a Catholic, diocesan, social service organization that, in partnership with the community at-large, nurtures a reverence for life by responding to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of families with the goal of moving families toward independence and self-sufficiency.

FAM provides assistance paying a past due utility bill (electric, gas or water) with a disconnect notice or rental assistance only with an eviction notice or letter from landlord of pending eviction.
To be eligible for assistance, all clients must provide the following:
Exceptions to income:
To receive financial assistance, a current copy or print out of utility bill must be provided. Bill must be in clients name. Eviction Notice or letter from landlord stating amount owed with a breakdown of each month must be provided. Clients name must be on lease as lessee or living at the residence.
After receiving assistance for the first time, all clients must attend four hours of Personal Finance Class and one Parenting Class to be eligible for further assistance.
