FAM volunteers are at the core of providing service to our clients, and invaluable to our ministry. Without our dedicated volunteers, we would not be able to provide as much service or items to our families. Being a volunteer can be a one day a week commitment or several days a week, it can be during hours of operation or after. There are many ways to use your talents or skills to assist our ministry help our community.
Come build friendships and have fun with our group at the same time. There are many ways to volunteer:
- Receptionist
- Phone Interviewer
- Receive and intake clients
- Clothing room attendant
- On call – as needed through the year
- Preparing layettes for new moms
- Classroom assistance
These are some of the opportunities; we have other ways such as: help with grant writing, event planning, ‘Gift of Love’ at Christmas time or join one of our groups such as our “SWATCH” (Sewing Women are Touching Children’s Hearts) group, or FAM Club.
